This bread pairs well with everything. Seafood, BBQ, chicken, pork…anything!
1 large bag fresh spinach
2 loaves French bread
1 cup Blue Plate mayonnaise
2 tablespoons milk
1 8-ounce cream cheese (at room temperature)
1/2 stick butter
4 ounces parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
Freeze the spinach in its bag. When frozen, give the bag a few EASY squeezes. This will help break the spinach in small pieces. But don’t pop the bag!
In a deep pot, add room temperature cream cheese, butter, Blue Plate mayonnaise and milk. Melt on a low heat. Add the remaining ingredients and cook on low heat for about 5 minutes or until blended.
Cut the French bread in half and place the spinach mixture in the center. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. You can also place on an outside grill on medium for 20 to 30 minutes.
This recipe pairs well with any dish, chicken, pork, BBQ or for a snack. It’s yummy anytime!
And any remaining mixture can be made into a dip! Just add a can of artichoke hearts, chop and place in the microwave for 3 to 4 minutes. Serve with crackers or Stacy’s Pita Chips!
