I like this because it’s an easy Saturday meal. When everybody’s goin’ different directions, they’ll stop, pick one up and go!
1 pound lean ground meat
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Sauce
8 French bread rolls
8-ounces cheddar cheese
In a saucepan, saute the onion in olive oil. When it’s almost done, add minced garlic then add the ground meat and brown.
Prepare the rolls by cutting the tops off, break into small pieces then place in the meat mixture. Keep the bottom of the bread. Remove the center of the bread bottms and place the extra bread pieces in the meat mixture. Put your bread boats in the oven and toast for 5 minutes at 350 degrees. Let then cool. This will help the boats stay firm.
Add the meat mixture into the toasted bread boat. Sprinkle the top with cheddar cheese and bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes. YUMMY!!!
