Ready-to-eat El Grande

My mother’s version of gourmet cooking. Straight from the can, but really good!


2 cans Hormel Beef Tamales (Get your Hormel Tamales HERE!)
1 15-ounce can black beans, drained and rinsed
1  15-ounce can southwest corn
1  10-ounce can red enchilada sauce
1 pound ground meat
4 cups boiled rice
2 cups shredded Kraft Mexican Four Cheese
 (Need some Kraft Mexican Cheese? Get it HERE!)
1 onion

Cheesy El Grande


Cut onion and add to the pan with ground meat and brown. Add salt and pepper to taste. Drain the grease. In a 10×15 deep baking pan, place the meat and cooked rice and mix together. Add drained beans and corn and mix. Remove tamales from the can and cut each one in bite size pieces. Then place on top of the casserole and drizzle the sauce on top. Take half of the can of enchilada sauce and drizzle on top. Top with shredded cheese and the remainder of the enchilada sauce. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Time to eat!
