Old Fashioned Baked Macaroni

This is my mother-law, Yvonne’s, recipe! Long macaroni pasta is necessary to make it best.

INGREDIENTS

1 pack 12-ounce long macaroni
1 cup whole milk
1/2 stick butter
8-10 ounces cheddar cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

Boil macaroni 8 minutes and drain. Add macaroni into a deep baking dish. Sprinkle cheese and mix together. Cover the top of the macaroni mixture with thin slices of butter and pour milk on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Then, stir. Add a little more cheese on top and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes. Ready to eat!
