Ambrosia Salad

My Ambrosia Salad is good for salad or dessert. It’s that good!


1 large can mandarin oranges drained in sections
1 large can chopped pineapple
1 large jar drained cherries
1 cup seedless grapes
1 large apple
2 bananas
1 lemon
1 cup pecan or walnut halves
1 small bag mini marshmallows
16 ounces vanilla yogurt
1 can coconut (optional)


Cut apple in small bite size pieces and slice the bananas. Squeeze lemon juice on apples and bananas, then let the mixture sit for 10 minutes. This will keep the apples and bananas from turning brown. Add pineapples and natural juice. Mix together. Drain cherries and mandarin oranges, then place fruit in the bowl. Discard the liquid and add the remaining fruit, marshmallows, yogurt and coconut as an option. Mix all together and place in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
